Great video. My mom and dad had a Shasta trailer they towed with a 1959 Chevrolet Impala station wagon. They’re gone now, as is the trailer and the Chevy, but this video reminded me of them and our road trips together. Thanks for posting it.

Thank you for viewing. Those were great times.

Great video, great cars and gas was $.28 a gallon

Thanks for your response. I could use cheaper gas today. I have to use premium in my car.

Actually, in most cases a car will just as well on regular. I haven't put premium gas in a car for about 20 years.
I have a 2002 Mercedes V8 that's run on regular since I got it without any problems.
The key is regular oil changes (synthetic oil) and tunes ups.

Thank you for your response. I have a 2014 Mercedes SUV V8 the owners manual states reg gas will damage the engine. I've am concerned about trying regular. Maybe i'll give it a try.

They all say that. Try a tankful or two. Your engine will let you know. If it pings at all go back to premium. The guy who first told me about this many years ago was a service manager at new car dealership and knew a lot.
