A friend of my family raises cattle this is one of their new additions. He will be a big boy but he just wants mom for now.
I had to look up what F-1 cattle are. (Crossbred cattle. F1's are those that have parents each comprising of a different breed.)

Reminds of the time my family and I went to a friend who had a dairy farm. while there our youngest, about 4 or 5 years old, asked if he could go closer to see the young calves. His older brother (12 years his senior) accompanied him. When they returned our youngest had a question for the farmer, which was, "Are the tags on the calves ears their price tags?" He learned they were tags indicating that vaccines had been provided to the young cattle to help prevent disease.

Think I see a litter brama in those ears. And I think F1 is short for First Fileal generation (but that goes back almost 60 years in my education so, y’know, I could be wrong).
