For the past day, every time that I’ve tried to open B&H’s website I’ve received a screen instructing me to press and hold a box in it to prove that I’m not a bot. It’s happening on my Windows desktop and on my iPad. I live in a 55+ community and have been asked to research a few items that our management wants to buy. My recommendations will be from a different dealer. B&H has become a PIA to use.
You may have some kind of virus or malware on your computer. I don't see any screen asking me that?
You may wish to contact Henry Posner for assistance. He's one of the B&H reps on UHH. He requests contact by email, not pm: henryp@bhphoto.com
I did not encounter a blocking bot just now, using Mac Safari browser.
The situation you describe has not been encountered by me. The site was just accessed via my phone. What was seen are the options to help you find products quickly.
Imho, there is no better place than B&H to purchase items. Their reputation is outstanding! Others have provided great suggestions in their response to you.
Ditto all the comments above....I'm not having any issues and it might be malware or something else odd going on with your system. I think the previous advice to contact B&H is spot on. There is no better vendor to work with than B&H, IMHO.

I've never seen that screen. I agree with other, run Anti-Virus software on your computer. Looks like someone has installed a backdoor or at least is trying a phishing expedition.
It's a scam, you've got some kind of malware on your computer. Do a search on --> The “Click Allow To Verify That You Are Not A Robot” Scam , you'll find lots of info about it.

I don't get that "pop-up"/screen on any page either. It just goes right to where I want to go.

But then he got it on 2 devices that he owns. Of course the malware can infect both devices but I think the chance is not likely.

Remind me to not ask you to do research for me.
I've seen a very similar, if not the same, message on B&H after clearing cookies, internet search history, and a ton of temp and left over files, which I do periodically.
I think it was B&H on that occasion but might not have been, but if you do that kind of housekeeping most sites will want to 'get to know you' again by setting cookies and so on.
Perhaps the OP needs to check the browser settings which might be rejecting cookies, or perhaps it is in private mode, or even using a VPN, or any combination thereof.

Depends if he visited the same <infecting> site on both machines.
Some malware looks for "connected machines", like on WIFI, and goes after them also.
Occasionally (rarely) Norton pops up with a "You don't wanna go there" window.
So, to be safe, I don't.

I just opened BH with no problem!
No problem opening B&H website home page, nor any request to prove that I'm not a bot when logging in to my account.
