While some of these photos were taken from that distance, the first few were from about 200 feet as the eagle (I think the female) landed on the shore along the York River. She eventually took off with a crab. I must admit that it was exciting seeing this majestic bird coming a bit closer. It appears that the eggs have hatched as the eagles were very active and noisy. I hope you enjoy these images, I enjoyed taking them.
