I don't know. I used Steve Perry's videos and books when I bought mine. They aren't D850 specific but I don't think he left anything out that I ever needed.

Neither is better. They approach the same information in their own way. Pick one, if you need more when you finish with one, go to the next.

I have David Busch's. It covers everything thoroughly. But can't compare it to any others.

Their content is always equal, but Buschs publisher used a more readable type face.

Both are excellent. David Busch has a writing style that for me works well. You also can't beat Steve Perry's publications and tips.

I have and recommend the David Busch book. I no longer have a D850 and if you live driving distance from Sharon Pa. or West Palm Beach Fl. I would give it to you.

I have and like David Busch’s book and use it for reference. The way I really learned my 850, though, was by watching John Greengo’s video on the 850 on Creative Live. It offers a comprehensive walkthrough of every menu item with great visuals, concise reference materials and solid setting recommendations for different scenarios.
