I just became aware of Caitlin Clark by watching highlights of her impressive season. This includes scoring 41 points for the second straight NCAA tournament game.
I normally don’t pay attention to women’s basketball. Iowa plays LSU on Sunday afternoon for the championship. If you are a sports fan I think you will enjoy watching video highlights of Clark. I definitely plan to watch Sunday’s game. This post is just a heads up for those who were not aware of Clark and the upcoming final’s game.
I'm not so sure the win was an upset. I, for the first time this year, got interested in March madness and have watched several of the games being up past my bedtime watching the Iowa-South Carolina game. Clark is phenomenal and I was rooting for Iowa. My prediction is they'll go all the way beating LSU.

Yes, a fun game to watch…..my wife and I were also rooting for Iowa.
I wasn't aware that Iowa was an eleven point underdog for that game.

When you beat a team that was 36-0 most people would consider that an upset.
As good as Clark is she may not win Player of the Year. Maddie Siegrist of Villanova may take that crown. She led the nation in scoring at 29.2 points per game, scoring better than 20 points in all 37 games this year, had 30 points or more in 17 games including 50 points against Seton Hall by hitting 20 of 26 shots.
She also averaged 9.2 rebounds per game and shot 86% from the free throw line.
She's already been named first team All American by the AP, the Basketball Writers Assoc. and a 3rd organization (WBCA) as well.
She was just named Power Forward of the Year (Katrina McClain Award) and is a finalist for the Wooden Award.
I’d love to see her score 40 points in the final.

I watched the whole game and felt her performance was the most dominant by any player I have ever witnessed including any woman or man. She was instrumental in 75% of the team's score either by shooting the shot herself or assisting on a play. It's amazing that she is this rather skinny little thing -- not robust like some of the players on the SC team or the girl on her team that plays center. I have a niece and nephew who graduated from SC but when I saw her play I began rooting for Iowa. I hope they go all the way.
