We had to go check on a cabin that we have been care taking for years. The property is in the middle of an 800 acre wildlife management area and you can't drive in yet because of too much snow still on the road in so we walked in - but it's a pretty hike in with the chance of seeing grizzly bears. No bears or elk seen this trip but we did see a few whitetail deer, eagles high in the sky and a few Blue Heron's that were also to far for the lens I had with me....but hey...I got to see em even if you all don't
These do look better in download.
View of Teakettle Mountain - I think this truck has been there for a few years!

Actually, I'm pretty sure that's an American Dipper. The shape is wrong for a Steller's (and perfect for a Dipper), and the bird does not have a crest. The blue-ish color might make you think Steller's, but I think that's just the light playing off the normally gray/brown Dipper.

Pretty good call… I didn’t recognize it without seeing a blue eyebrow. Too young yet?
All excellent, Cindy. My fav is #3.
