Notice how the Trumpers say Biden is GUILTY of some imagined crime and is part of a supposed "Biden crime family," even though Biden has never been indicted or convicted of anything, and there is no evidence that he is even being investigated for criminal activity. Yet, when Trump is indicted by a Grand Jury, Trumpers rise to his defense: "getting an indictment is easy, a grand jury doesn't see all the evidence, far left fascists, blah, blah blah."

I don't think that this will turn into a felony; but Trump, if guilty could be caught as Capone was, taxes. By reimbursing the lawyer he was able to use it as a "fake" tax deductible expense.
The bigger issue here is not the law. The Republican Party always was supposed to represent the "Moral Majority," or family values. So here we have a Republican paying off a porn star that has been able to give a graphic description of his equipment. Perhaps Trump's wife could confirm if the description is valid. He supposedly also had relations with a Playboy bunny. So the "Moral Majority" is supporting a serial cheater?
PS I agree that the other cases have a better chance than the NY one.
