I am sure it is a great camera, but it is selling new at BH photo for $1700.
I also know all the added things you have must have cost you but the bottom
line is everything is used.

I think you are asking way to much for used gear. I have bought and sold several Sony cameras and lenses.
Just my opinion.

Roni, I see that you've sold some items here on the Hog and for that reason, I'm surprised that you would call the OP out for all to see, concerning his price. I think it would have been more appropriate to send him a a PM. When you have something to sell you shouldn't have to defend or explain the price. If it's too much, people won't respond. For one thing, he has OBO, so $1500 is his starting point...he's negotiable. What would you suggest that he do? Just my opinion.

My two cents.

Right, if it is too much people won't respond. It is a great camera and if he really wants to sell it he should lower the cost.

I am surprised that you would call me out instead of sending me a private PM.

I have been called out here a few times with trying to sell items.
I was trying to help!

And that's the reason I didn't send you a PM...I wanted folks to see this and realize that it's up to the seller to determine the asking price. You may have scared someone off who might have been interested in the camera. Should the OP check with you to see what he should ask? I don't mean to be argumentative here but my point is this: #1-If you were interested in the camera (I don't think you are) and you think the price is too high, you can negotiate a price with the OP. #2-If you're not interested in the camera, why would you go through the trouble of looking up the "New" price and put that out there and tell the person that they're asking too much? I don't think that's very nice. I wouldn't appreciate it, would you?

I just did a quick check on the prices for the accessories: $70-80 for the strap. $68 for the Hoya ndx4 (the other one I couldn't find). $125 for the Nikon circular polarizer. $110 for the Hoya variable density. Sony wired remote $60. Sony SPRI remote $30.Vello hot shoe remote $60. Sony F20M flash $150. 3 Sony NPFW 50 batteries $150 and the Watson dual battery charger $80. Just rough figures, but they total $903. So, to me, $903 worth of accessories plus a mint RX10IV seems like a bargain. And Roni, you said "but the bottom line is everything is used". While that may be, it certainly isn't worthless! How were you trying to help?

Here are similar items (sold) on Ebay.

For what Bruce is offering in addition to the RX10 IV, I think his price is a terrific deal. I have the Sony RX10 IV. Wonderful camera. Bruce is a good guy and has been around for a long while. I would trust his sale.

Amen! I sold a camera some time ago to the first reply to my ad. A few minutes later I got another reply from some genius informing me I would never sell it because of my terms. The last thing a seller is looking for are unrequested criticisms on what the item for sale might or might not be worth. If no one asks for your opinion then perhaps you ought to zip it.

Exactly why I never try to sell anything here on UHH anymore. Try Fred Miranda. Much more professional behavior over there.

Thanks Mike; I’ll try it. Never had this problem on UHH before.
