Good question. He still lives in Jacksonville when not on tour with his wife Susan Tedeschi. I first saw him play when he was about 10 years old.

One thing the replies on this list shows is that "best" is very subjective and depends on your life experiences and personal feelings, sort of like asking "who was the best basketball player of all time". It all depends on their time and the type of play at the time of their life.
