You need to get your sixth grade education before you start making comments like that.

Billy 45 you are a LIAR. Surely you know that with all the BS you shovel on this forum. Surely you are smart enough to know it is the Democratic Party who is continually going after false windmills as was Don Quixote. The Left sees evil in everything and everybody who does not agree with their bullshit ideas of supporting the black race, allowing literally Millions of illegal aliens from every country on the planet and then SUPPORTING those people who come here at the invitation of your own dumb ass POS Biden. Democrats think this is acceptable to bring these people to our country and then GIVE them everything necessary to survive. No money-no problem, no job skills-no problem, no education to get a well paying job-no problem, just continue housing illegal aliens in high dollar hotels and then allow these very same people to trash the hotel so others won't want to stay there. Would you? Me neither. But back to the fears spread by the Democrats, how about Big Business and Big Oil. America has numerous natural fuels available to us for at least 100 years. President Trump worked to make America self sufficient in this area. But on Biden's first day in office he took an axe to fossil fuels. Now America is trying to buy oil from other countries even after Biden sold our oil reserves to another country. WTF is that stupid? Only a Democrat, that's who. But of course the Democrats still make out the oil companies are evil, Big Business is evil and should be heavily taxed. Tell us again about Republicans fearing anything, anything at all except for the stupidity of the DNC and its followers.

Oh c'mon now. You are putting an impossible task in front of Billy 45. He could never do that. The Democrats will just tell him he is a good ol boy and give him a diploma. That is the same as they will do in the Democratic run schools systems where up to 72% of students cannot pass a class, where in some districts not one student was able to attain a passing grade. Some NYS teachers are out on strike for up to a 30% increase in their salary. They are unable to teach but sure as hell the Democratic Party will ensure they get more money just for being there.

I find it to be hysterical when two idiots talk to each other and call intelligent people dumb.
Must be all those exhaust fumes in the garage.

francine your ignorant comments get dumber and dumber but funnier every day. At least IF our comments are from a garage, I have no idea WTF that thought came from, but at least it is not from having our heads in a dark place such as Uranus, as you do. You are starting to get just like your brother, Lil Dave, the Troll Meister, nothing but insults and nothing to add to the thread in progress. Just like Billy 45 you just cannot get above a 6th grade school level can you. Must be those idiotic teachers from Democratland.

But do not let my positive comments about you slow you down on your posting. If nothing else you on the lying corrupt Left do make for something to laugh AT just like your piss poor leader, POS Biden.

Big changes indeed. The Civil Rights Acts were passed more as a tribute to their champion JFK, and not because LBJ - a staunch segregationist - agreed with them.
But it was LBJ who created the welfare state, and monetarily discouraged mothers from marrying the fathers of their children.

I suggest you read an LBJ biography ..... because he was a Texan did not mean he favored segregation ....

Ok, I know, some of you will say the article is from Fox News so it must be false. In this case, though, it's true.

readers are interpreting the article to assume that the Republican Party of 1854 was OPPOSED to slavery ..... it was opposed to the Kansas Nebraska Act Act, not slavery ...... it was pro slavery in the states that existed prior to 1854 ..... Lincoln is viewed as the emancipator, but his plan in the early 1860s was to compensate slave owners and send the salves back to Africa .....

Once again, you are wrong. It is NOT taboo in Florida to talk/teach about slavery.
