One of the toughest warbirds ever! And the Airforce keeps trying to get rid of them. A lot of ground troops owe their lives to them and their pilots!

As an ex-groundpounder (Sgt, Inf, 11B40), I curse the air force for not supporting us. So its not pretty or sexy, they don't have anything that will cover its close air support mission.

The Air Force has been supporting ground troops since the beginning. What makes you think the Air Force doesn't want to support the men on the ground?
