A Snowy Egret flying low at sunrise at Wakodahatchee. Normally they have a yellow lore, but during mating season it turns red, grows crest feathers and a skirt. One of my favorite birds, unfortunately we have very few of them at Wakodahatchee. Enjoy.
Sony a1, Sony 600mm f4 @f4, 1/4000 sec. iso 200, manual exposure based on a reading of green grass which reflects almost the same as a gray card, 18%, zone focusing, tracking is always on.
