Yikes! (Actually, I've seen plenty of these up close and personal - enough to last a lifetime. It's a great image but, whew, I'm glad to move to the next topic!)

Nice image, but mean looking bugger! A trick I learned is that you can swat them away with a quick flick of your fingers and you probably won't get stung. But a slower push with your hand is almost guaranteed to hurt.
