In 2019 I was the organizer for the Long Island Photography Meetup. We did a private event at the Woolworth Building in NYC.

**The Woolworth Building is an early American skyscraper designed by architect Cass Gilbert located at 233 Broadway in the Tribeca neighborhood of Manhattan in New York City. It was the tallest building in the world from 1913 to 1930, with a height of 792 feet.**

Thanks, good memories for me. I did some carpentry repairs back around 1965. Great shots Roni, love them all. Just an old guy from The Bronx.

Thanks so much. My friend did the roofing there many years ago. I have more images on my website.

Excellent photos of that old beautiful building, the architecture is fabulous and finishing touches are amazing. I was there as a child in the 50's with my parents. IF, a big if only, they could have saved the Penn Station....so much beautiful architecture was created in the early part of that century in NYC. Cheers Roni and thanks for the memories and beautiful photos..

They don't make them like that anymore. Actually they hardly make anything like they used to today.

That's a beautiful building! So elegant looking for a five-and-dime! So what is it now that Woolworth is out of business?

Great pictures of a fantastic building. To me it tops all but the Chrysler building in beauty. Can't imagine what it would cost to build today. Even he elevators have pazaz.
