Cincinnati Skyline
The "ever changing" Queen City skyline is a great photograph in it's making. "Cincinnati Skyline" means something different to Cincinnatians than to others. Order it "inverted" and keep the messy cheese off the floor! Nice shot!
Nice shot!
The bridge appears to have a similar design to the bridges that span New York’s East River.
Yes this was John Roeblings design for a suspension bridge and was built here 1st and then it was built in NY

Roebling actually built the bridge in Cincinnati. He was hired by NYC to build the same bridge in Brooklyn. His untimely death led his widow and son to finish the job in Brooklyn. Engineers can tell us why but the design of the bridge was criticised at the time. Those criticisms proved false and the bridge is now hailed as a breakthrough.
I remember as a kid in the 60's going over the suspension bridge and listen to it sing. Go right into the bus terminal, then a walk over Shilitos for the Christmas decorations.. Stopping next to the bus stop was the best pastrami ever. Of Course I forgot the name. Grandmother used to live on 2nd St. in Covington and on the weekends when we visited we could hear the calliope playing on the Delta Queen.
Got some great shots from Devou Park of Cincy also.
Nice composition and framing!
Nice shot for a postcard. Great work!
