Here are some photos I took of a Harpy Eagle at the Nature Center....this was a presentation put on by a group from Missouri.

This is a large Eagle. it is the national bird of Panama. Very large talons (same size as a Grizzly bear )

I enjoyed this trip allot...and found this Raptor to be very exciting to see.

Thank you for the great shots. This may be as close as most of us will ever be to one.

As I recall, the Harpy Eagle is the world's largest eagle. And it's talons are capable of killing a small deer. Some very beautiful photos of a very powerful bird.
