Not really. I just wanted to put my toe in the MILC water. With the 40mmf2.8 or the kit 16-55 it's a nice compact package. Once I have to add the adaptor to use DSLR lenses, it's not longer that light or compact. If, and it's a big if, I begin to add MILC lenses, it will be very slowly and carefully. With a "gang" of DSLR lenses, that may be a long, long time.
But one of our popular Hoggers says that (:)) without a mirrorless, I 'm less of a man - tongue firmly in cheek.
Hes not popular ... just ubiquitous.
FWIW I continue using very many SLR lenses adapted to EVF cameras. An extra inch from the adapter doesnt bother me. It was there along built into SLR bodies.
I dont need to be rid of the inch nor do I lust for slightly more compact native EVF lenses, cuz size reduction was never my priority. Silence mode, better focus, the EVF itself, and IBIS are my priorities.
I understand that many here really do prioritize size and weight. They dismiss m4/3 and so they fill these pages with their self imposed conundrums. I just view all that as cheap entertainment.
