And what is that red and black Magic Moonlight. I know I flew in one of them but can not recall the maker and model.
Absolutely gorgeous shots. Well done!

What an interesting and beautifully photographed collection of photos!

Some great shots in there. I'd relook at that German aircraft though, it looked far too overdone with HDR.

Great set! Thanks for posting.
Does anyone know the type of airplane in the last picture? (Upper left, tail # D3-55?)
It's a Grumman F7F Tigercat.

Great set! I love the Corsair; the Beech 18 is another favorite (photos 2 and 18).
Stunning shots, my favorite is the Beech RC-45 on the takeoff run, (the second shot).
Great photos👍 I enjoyed all of the planes!
Matt Younkin's Beech 18, also known as a Twin Beech.

The Oshkosh flight totals are even more impressive because its traffic count covers only 10 hours of daily activity, while the major airports are open 24 hours. The Oshkosh airport closes after dark and the tower is closed for four hours in the afternoon for the daily air show. Once again this year, we expect the Oshkosh tower to be one of the busiest in the world and for the FAA to excel at “the world’s greatest aviation celebration.”
