Sony A7 IV firmware issue

Yes I thought so. Now I wouldn't know but I think for some reason the camera doesn't see the firmware file in the SD card. I guess you do see the file in the SD card when you put it in the PC.

I did a google search and I could do an update on my Sony A7111 with a cord. But I could not find anything to say I could do it on the A71V.

I left my camera there and they did the update, but were gone when I returned to pick it up. If I see any of the people at WPPI, I will try to pursue it. Have you had any luck since?

I have not tried yet, was busy with my family.

I will try & call B&H today.

The people I spoke to, after showing them your post, said to call the Sony help line. That was the extent of their help!!!!
