OSB Echoey

I'm experimenting again. I used a pass-through card and OSB to copy a movie from TV, and the sound is echoey. I didn't make any audio adjustments in OSB. Video is perfect, and the sound is more or less acceptable, but there must be a setting that I missed. Any ideas?

After you recorded the movie and play it back does the echoes go away?

No. It's during playback that it's echoey.

I had a similar problem when recording podcasts, etc. Try using only the internal mic, turn off the external speakers that caused the echo. It works for me.

Ah, the external speakers. I bet that was the cause.

Thanks

Forgive my ignorance but what is OSB?

Something new to me. Open Broadcaster Software. It's a very popular, very capable program that's used extensively.
