It's going to melt off pretty fast. We're in for a stretch of more normal weather - sunny and warm.

Kathy, We must have crossed paths in Superstitions, many of my shots are similar to yours. Great shooting. Cheers -- Dan.

Being in Winnipeg, we always could get snow shots in the Winter... but no hills/mountains. We did get some nice drifts. Fifty years back, I experimented with my Nikon F2, using high contrast copy film. You could get some amazing photos. You could do it with black and white, and even enhance the photos in the darkroom.

I've not tried this with digital cameras...

We got hit again! The desert was hit during the night with a major storm. Nearly an inch of rain in lower elevations (that's flooding in the desert) and two feet of snow in the higher elevations. The snow level dropped to 1500 feet, which means that the northern part of the Valley of the Sun got snow. Even Apache Junction in the East Valley got flurries. All of the mountains to the north and east got hit. It was more than a dusting this time! So I had to go take a look.
