I can't verify the authenticity of these but they're interesting.

Interesting, but I am quite positive some of them are incorrect, wrong or incomplete. The Romans did not have negative numbers, i.e. integers. Also not sure how they might represent decimal fractions. So no "- III" or pi, e, i.

Roman numerals only come in one flavor...positive integers, as far as I know.

Mostly true - zero isn't a number, but a concept. And bananas don't grow from seeds, but from bulbs. If they could not reproduce without human help there would be a lot of hungry monkeys around.

The mouth is not normally acidic, except after ingesting acidic food or beverage, or if someone has acid reflux bad enough to reach the mouth. In fact, saliva contains amylase, an enzyme that breaks down starches into sugars, and the enzyme is inactivated by acid. Normal mouth pH is about 6.7-7.2.

The concept of zero did not come about until ca. 5th century CE in India. However, zero as a place holder has been around since 400-300 BCE.

I agree with most. The exceptions being bananas and caffeine. Bananas have been covered. The statement about caffeine may be partially true. Aspirin is naturally somewhat acidic and caffeine will help buffer its effects on the stomach. It may also reduce the degradation of aspirin allowing mre to reach th eintestines for absorption.

I had no idea, so I looked it up and found this. Interesting. Who knew?!

I often wondered about the sex life of the banana but was afraid to ask. 😊

Not too many people are willing to discuss it Joe, but I think it needed to be said. I'm glad that it's out in the open now!
