I'm glad that I got to see it and "copy" it before it was relegated to the "Attic". I figured that it might end up "there". I went up "there" a few times but that was enough. Too much sniping...I don't need it. I'd rather laugh at your jokes, Graham.

That is why I detest the attic, if you say anything they don't agree with, you get blasted with disgusting

The topic is general, but it has a political component as government policy regarding "climate change" is bound to come up as soon as the topic is up for discussion.

Graham, of course your post was going to be moved to the Attic because of the divide surrounding Climate Change, many conservatives for years have tried to point out the facts contained in your article and for years the left has been saying that we have to completely change our energy production to renewables now because we have run out of time. Green energy is not ready and it may never be unless we turn to nuclear but it seems that the left is against that as well.
It is good however to see that some on the left side of the aisle are waking up, here in the states we don't face as severe energy problems that the EU does so the current administration is still content to choke our supply so that they can pretend they are saving the world which they are not.

Obviously you didn't read Graham's original post about climate change. That post pointed out that what is more severe than climate change is the energy crisis that is being created by green energy policy.
That is exactly what conservatives have been pointing out for years is that the economic cost of any policy must be taken into account and the green energy policy will destroy our standard of living while not correcting planetary problems. His post is exactly what we have been saying.

Graham....you are in search of a reasonable audience and discussion. The problem with the Attic is that, perhaps after a couple of posts pertaining to the original post, the thread will then take crazy tangential turns. The problem with Chit-Chat is that it's become inhabited be very sensitive individuals and it's become a mostly very boring place compared to what it used to be.
