It works for me, and well enough that I often as not eliminate the camera from the process of photography.

I identify with that statement! As I 'drag' my wife along, she often makes the statement 'What have you got us into now"! Then she wants to go back! It is a beautiful, and interesting world out there!

Photography provides me with the impetus to go hiking in beautiful places and to absorb the vibrations of nature.
