You do realize that common sense isn't all that common.

Many years ago, probably shortly after the dawn of the internet, I came across a photo of a young woman standing in a boat holding a fish. It was part of a joke that I happened across, or maybe it was sent to me by a friend. The woman had a fish about the same size as the one above, but did not have the bikini. So that was lewd. And, being young(er) and male I thoroughly enjoyed it. My point is that the image posted in this thread didn't come close to lewdness.
I apologize that I cannot post that image but I did not keep it (we only had one computer in those days*) and posting it would get me in trouble with Admin (and wife) and the whole thread would be placed into the top section (the attic).
The only photos I might have of a Mahi Mahi would be on a plate, so that was not what I am referring to.
*I just counted them up. Our family of two now has 6 computers in the house (not including the appliances) and we took 3 to recycling last year.

I think you could have left out the first 'common'.

Yes Burk, I understand your words and really respect them as I have read your words in the past. And yes, other countries ? well hell yea that was my whole point, if you do not like something then close out and move and let the rest of us view it. We should not in any way hold ourselves back from a small audience of primitive minded people controlling the rest of us. Look Burk, I am just as selective as anyone should be but I believe in freedom and freedom expression and freedom to chose. Oh by the way, if you are in Texas during the spring, summer and fall, you will see bikini girls like her fishing or just being outside. I know. I had a sailboat on a couple of lakes here and saw this all the time. We don't care. Live free of mind and body but then I have a sense of morality and dignity myself. So when I see idiots bashing a member I am going to stand up for them regardless if I approve or not. Well that is my story and am holding on to it.

We are of similar mindsets!
Plenty of the same fisher folks dressed the same way here. No one bats an eyelash.

"Common sense isn't..." has been my pet saying for many, many years. I started using it when I was in college and it had to do with the class's understanding of the Fortran programming language. I learned Fortran from a MIT textbook called "The Fortran Coloring Book", and as humorous as the book was, it made learning Fortran so easy it was like common sense. Apparently I was the only one in the class who heard of the book. I aced the course and didn't even have to take the final, just show up and sign it. It wouldn't have affected my final grade either way. I remember that class quite well. The teacher was a very attractive and intelligent woman from Venezuela named Bianca. She looked a lot like the race car driver, Milka Duno. "Common sense isn't..." has been with me since then. Thank you for your response, it made me smile.

Advanced degrees do not confer common sense.
We had a guy in grad school that built a complex electronic circuit for an experiment. When it was finished he nailed it to the workbench.
