Very nice shot...darn nice!!!!!!
Here's another photo that seems to be made with a trail cam! Thanks even if it isn't. I find it difficult to think it was with another camera because they are so seclusive and shy.
Whatever kind of camera this is a very exceptional 'shot'!
Iβm offended. ππ Not a trail cam shot.
It's a great place. You can get very realistic pictures that look like they were taken in the wild. Be sure to watch the performances, but they can be difficult to shoot if there are lots of people.

Beautiful image of a beautiful cougar, (puma or mountain lion). What I find interesting is the swirly background and that the light (sunlight?) is from the right side and behind the cat, but the cat does not throw a shadow to the left-foreground of where it is standing. There is no indication a frontal light was used, so just exactly how was this image captured, and what lens creates a swirly lined background?
Take your longest lens. Preferably something in the range of 500 to 600mm or longer.

I think I may have "offended"! But without my feelings. I have 8 trail cameras, gave a 9th one away because it had resolution not for my quality. I have 3 or 4 cameras with wonderful sharp quality features. One is a Canon. One I use for photo stacking. GoPro for it's intended use.
If I was the photographer taking this shot I would have published it after a slight darkening to bring out the color. With this said I admire you're ability to get this 'shot' with it looking at you as if it was looking at the camera.
Again, I say without offense! You did get a wonderful 'shot' of this beast. People here think it cannot attack you. It can very easily especially when you think it will not. I have a 'shot' of a 5 or 6 year old going OFF TRAIL seeing my camera and the mother calmly asking her daughter to come back without any reprimand. Wild beasts especially go after young children as if they are 'prey'.
If I am not understanding your remark properly I do want to apologize here and if we were in public I would also apologize. I try so hard to 'shoot' the bear, bighorn, cougars and bobcats but find it very difficult. Fox, pronghorn, deer, skunks, etc. are easy and we need more photographers using trail cams on UHH.
Send some more animals. I want to see them.
