Perhaps some enjoy trying 100 "different" presets to (hopefully) find one which nearly works, then do the adjusting which could have been done without the preset! To each his own!

Good chance.....
I suppose one could use a preset as a starting point, then finish.
I'd rather just tweak the sliders myself. Not that much trouble.
If I'm not mistaken, many cameras today allow you to create a certain number of presets in camera. My Nikon DSLRs have 4. If you use Nikon software those adjustments carry over from camera to computer where they can be tweaked even more.

I confess that I bought a three small sets of presets during my learning experiences. One thing that I learned is that presets were at best a starting point. Concentrate more on learning your editing skills through practice, reading, and possible watching you tube videos. Presets are a waste of money for the most part!
