Reprocessed the video session from yesterday to show the solar prominences.
Setup: Sony A7R V camera, Lunt 60 Solar scope with a 2.5x PowerMate on an Evolution mount.
Used the same best video from yesterday. Ran the video through PIPP to create an uncompressed AVI file then processed it using AutoStakkert. Final cleanup/tweaking in Lightroom/Photoshop.
The attached image is 50% of full scale with 100% inserts. The Earth has been added to the image and each insert to show the relative size of these solar features.
My favorite is the 'tree' prominence in the upper right. Although the one on the left was the fastest moving; changing noticeably over the span of shooting my video sessions.
Enjoy!
