I was retired when the oldest was a year year and a half, and I got to watch her all day, 1-2 days a week. Did that for about 2 years. Now she’s 13. I miss those times, although I was glad she took naps.

I fully understand what you are saying. We look after Phoebe every Friday and other days if needed.
My son lives a good hour from us. They are both working full time Jobs, so we have to leave our place at 6.00am
after getting up at five. Phoebe's mum doesn't get home until getting on for 6.0pm. So it's gone 7.0pm before we get back home. I'm just about all in by the time we get home. But it's worth it being with her all day long,
