The government of the United Kingdom declared war on the Empire of Japan on 8 December 1941, following the Japanese attacks on British Malaya, Singapore, and Hong Kong on the previous day as well as in response to the bombing of the US fleet at Pearl Harbor.

It seems to me we also helped you as well!!!!

The Brits responded AFTER their colonies were attacked by surrendering. They surrendered to the Japanese without a fight. Big help indeed.

Ragan
You should read the truth about what happened in Singapore. You are a completely ignorant ;;individuaL""
making false ridiculous statements about the surrender without bloody battle. How can you post terrible lies about such a terrible war. 80,000 British, India and Australians became prisoners of war. Thousands died of starvation brutal treatment and illness.

This was nothing to do with the USA so why have you posted this on here, just to cause bad feelings and aggravation.
I thought that had all ended a couple of days ago. Or is it just because I am a proud Yorkshire Englishman and obviously you don't like me. I love you so very much and this breaks my heart to think you write lies like this, as this is not the first time you have posted this sort of crap, similar to this before

It's way past my bedtime Ragan my dear friend. When I'm kneeling at the foot of my bed, or at the side of the bed praying. Iv'e changed my mind Ragan, it will be at foot of the bed because my three little dogs are usually at the top of the bed. I shall mention you in my prayers and ask the good Lord to teach you not to tell fibs and hope that when you write those nasty posts to upset a jolly good upstanding, friendly, reliable, amusing, helpful, Yorkshire Engishman, you will think why. Ragan you actually make laugh. In fact Raglan I bet you have a friend of some sort......
I'm afraid there's are no Beers at all for you, or cheers until you change your ways and be nice to people like what
I am, or don't read my stuff at all. I'm still not sure what side of the bed I shall say my prayers, tonight.

Graham

Thanks. Sounds like a good idea. I'll join you virtually (but at my age three is past my limit).

Ok just one medium-to large then for you. I'll see your other two off

Take care and I hope your week-end is going well. My football team is Leeds United,
It's in the Premier League, but we are having a terrible season. We are in the bottom three.
Up until today we hadn't won a match since November the sixth. To-day we played Southampton
who are bottom of the League, but we just scraped a win 1-0, So I am a happy bunny tonight.

I have got say, I am not a royalist at all. Over the last few years a lot of unsavoury incidents have
been going on throughout the family as you probably know. From the king down to the youngest grandson.

I don't want to go through any of them but you know what I mean, and that's how I Stand with royalty.

You take care Graham...

These are funny truisms. Made me chuckle. Keep it up. In America, everything is on the table. If we can't take a joke about ourselves, we're in more trouble than we thought.

Graham, you shallow twit. You throw your insults and pretend that they are humor. There are two basic elements to humor: 1. Someone else's pain. And 2. The element of surprise. I must explain: if you fall down, it's funny, if I fall down, it's not. So right away you are missing the obvious by insulting Americans when you are not one. The only element of surprise is that you are not clever enough to understand this. And no, I am not trying to be funny.
