kenArchi, Perhaps we can flip your title... The Future belongs to AI that masters those. or The Future belongs to those who allow AI to be their master. Bill Gates and leading Professors use AI to their advantage... because they personally developed before AI became smarter than they. Younger generations only know their AI world and can not think without AI thinking for them.

As generations move on AI will be the master as was the thesis of the movie I-Robot. The young do not research answers or memorize... they ask their iPhone and the phone, Siri verbally tells them the answer... then they move on and continue with the game on the screen. The more they use modern AI the less brain tissue is needed... microcephaly is the future. Pin-headed early microcephaly dementia is the future evolutionary path. At 3 months like a trained lab chimp the human future baby will press the food button and the computer says "Food Please." Their speech centers are retarded. Need a term paper... no problem...it too is automated.

In my life tools such as Excel, for example, were tools that I controled. Now Excel has become so automated that it fight what I want to do and does what it assume I want. NO damit !!! I want a simple XY line graph and I will do the divisions ... NO!! I do not want a colorful pie chart....

Now yes, of course, I do appreciate many things that our modern semi-AI world has given us. The beautiful brilliant oriental woman that lives in my camera awakens when "A" setting is on and she quickly adjusts the camera parameters to give my a great photo. My Topaz AI says this is what that photo you took in 2001 with your Kodak DC4800 would have looked like if taken today with a modern-quality camera. The future of those 2001 photos belongs to those who master AI.

Just another crutch! What can I get to do the work FOR me? What's next, motorized tripods?

How do I know your are a "dpullum", and your comments are not "Artificial Beelzebub" the product of the latest Lucifer computer technology. I am beginning to smell the sulfur here.

Crutch?
Perhaps you should get rid of all the myriad of crutches you use.
Get rid of all your computers, automobiles cell phones, modern HVAC, indoor plumbing, TV and cable, electricity.
Then make your own wet plates from mixing your own chemicals use a Brady type of camera etc.
It amazes me people get their D850 then years later cannot accept its total obsolescence in today's photo world.

Google and Microsoft have shut down their AI ladies because they claimed to be sentient based on humans differing from animals sentient beings have language and some emotions. Some humans have few emotions.

Google put the engineer reporting this on admin leave.

Microsoft Bing may not be your friend... you may be Bing's friend... oh oh !!!

We all remember Hal: "A Space Odyssey, in which the artificially intelligent computer HAL 9000 refuses to comply with human operators because it fears it is about to be switched off." My old computer was equipped with Hal greeting and function voices.

"How do I know your are a "dpullum", and your comments are not "Artificial Beelzebub" the product of the latest Lucifer computer technology. I am beginning to smell the sulfur here." St.Mary's you are going a bit far... you may disappear and be deleted from all public records... You will never have existed.

AI, like everything else, is a two-edged sword. The danger comes when a robot, not a human, wields that sword.
