The most beautiful car ever made.

I am an artist so I look at most everything as 'objects' and there is beauty. in everything. Sergei Bogart, a teacher of mine and a unique friend taught me that "even garbage can be a work of art if done right!". With this said there are a lot of cars that are BEAUTIFUL, but for me there is one that really stands out. You can see it on YouTube as the "Copper Caddie".
Others can have the most beautiful car in their minds and that's wonderful because they are beautiful, but the 'Copper Caddie" for me tops the scales. When I looked at the cars in this sight those that were made in very limited editions all are also beautiful.

Wow! Dave did an absolute beautiful job with this restoration, just beautiful, I love it!
Enzo Ferrari said that the Jag XKE was the most beautiful he had ever seen. As for American cars, I would nominate the 1953 Studebaker Hawk.

A design by The Raymond Loewy Design Studio. It was rumored that the design was copied from Pininfarina.
If we're going to talk about Studebakers, lets not forget the Avanti:

Too much of a generalized question... If relegated to American iron it would put the 57 Chevy in the top group... Jag XKE should be in OVERALL top list... Early Mercedes Gull wings were nice too...
Thank you to a couple of people that pointed out my memory lapse regarding the Cobra and a 327 motor, I must have been thinking about another car I'll never own - a Corvette. The Cobra and the high output 289 was quite a car in its day. My favorite Vette is in the 1990 area. I don't like any of the new ones. Unfortunately these days my truck is much easier to get into so I love the looks of the 1994-1997 Dodge Ram.

The XKE was a gorgeous car but heaven help if something broke. British mechanics must all have had very small hands. I had to replace a starter in a friends car once and that was SO much fun. The song Dead Man's Curve must have been about an XKE.
I had a '67 E-type coupe and learned to pull the starter in 5 minutes...I did not do it according to "the book"...a large volume called " The Complete Jaguar E".
It Said to remove the distributor and bend the carburetor drain tubes as it wanted you to to carefully guide the starter along the side of the engine under the carbs and out where the distributor was.
I thought, "no I'm not gonna do that". I looked down at the starter and instead unbolted a part of the frame from the firewall, bent it back slightly and pulled the starter straight up...easy as pie.
I must agree that the 66 and 67 GTP's were some of the most beautiful "muscle cars" ever made as nd that those early to mid 60's XKE's were some of the most beautiful sports cars ever made. And the Ford GT 40 might be the most beautiful car ever made; but it is all subjective and probably relates to the age of the beholder, myself included. I mean, there are plenty of people out there who think otherwise, I am sure!
Sorry about some of the spelling here! One should always proof read.
I just read an article "A Quick History of the Shelby Cobra" (available on the internet and includes a nice photo of a convertible Cobra). At the end of the article the author calls the Shelby Cobra a "drop-dead gorgeous automotive work of art". Certainly one man's opinion!
