I would guess that some of the posts in this thread would confirm any suspicions a Brit would have of Yanks.

Come on now mr Spock, be reasonable, if I disliked the American people would I be spending hours everyday trying to make them laugh. I have over a dozen Americans on my personal email list both men and women. Every thing has been going well for the three weeks I have been back on here. Then out of the blue someone makes a snide comment about the USA and world war II in the middle of USA joke thread. Jokes from your fellow American comedians. Wouldn't you get upset if I made a snide comment about the USA. I'm sure you would and a lot of your mates would probably follow suit as some have today already. Is it too late now to get back to normality without the snide comments coming from a few people now.
