I agree with that assessment except in one field - science. We have expanded our knowledge in the sciences exponentially in a century. And the field of medicine has advanced such that death from common diseases as happened I. The last century has been almost entirely eliminated.

Maybe if CA. wasn't dumping billions of gallons of good water into the ocean it would help these problems and CA. water shortage problems too. Idiots.

Do you realize how large the GSL was at one point. It was so large that it occupied most of Nevada and much of Utah. Nature takes it course.

The fish have a very strong lobby, and they're afraid they might run out of water. Can you blame them?

I have a great idea. Let's get into a pointless war with Russia, China, Iran and North Korea all at the same time. Then we, and they, can totally nuke the world and eliminate the entire human population along with a large portion of the animal world. That will solve everything, including this conversation.
Check out the Berkley Pit in Anaconda, Montana above Butte.
Utah growing so fast sort of surprises me mainly because of the significant church influence in almost everything that happens there. I haven't been there since I was stationed there in the sixties so maybe things are changing. I remember that at the time, Utah was ranked high in per person beer consumption and even though the military did their share, we were not the only drinkers! It sure was a scenic state though. I remember the Air Force using the lake for practice and we even had an F-4 crash into the lake.

Perhaps you could talk to your doctor about anti-depressants.

You must be a big hit at parties. So full of hate and anger. Is this what happens to people who spend so much time on uhh? As for the human race dying off thing, or not dying off, that's one of the things that separates us humans from other species.

Steven Hawking said, and he is absolutely correct, that if the human race is to survive it MUST get off of this planet.

I'm sure you know Salt Lake doesn't have fish.
