I like this image Jim, it’s a very nice shot of the orchid. I can take or leave the jumping out of frame effect but it works well enough and will please many. All in all a better rendering than the one of a day or two back, that was too misty for the subject matter in my view. All these things are very personal points of view though, particularly with this sort of subject.
Jim, I like the 3D way your flower extends out over the mat. I hung a squirrels tail beyond the mat and frame and it really confused a little 4 y old girl.
I like this orchid image. Regarding the extension of petals into the matting, I can take it or leave it, but it's a little different technique and might get a 2nd look as a viewer realizes something is a bit different and looks again to see what. Bev
I am not a big fan of that style but its a good shot for sure
