Using Adobe Creative Cloud with Mac OS Venture

I finally had to break down and replaced y 10-year old MacBook.

I now have a MacBook Pro (M1 Pro chip) with OS 12 Monterey but plan to upgrade to OS 13 Ventura. I have tried to research whether Lightroom Classes and Creative Cloud are compatible with Venture. What I read leads me to believe they are, although I may have to reinstall Lightroom.

I am tech literate but don't always speak the language well and would appreciate hearing from those even more knowledgeable about their experience using Photoshop and Lightroom on Ventura

I have Ventura and installed the updated Lr and Ps. Both are running fine.

the only issues you will run into is not around Ventura but rather that there are some features especially in Photoshop that do not work on the apple silicon version. To get them you have to find the app in your applications folder, right click on the Photoshop app, select get information, check the run with Rosetta version and now you get all the features but it runs slower..

I'm running Ventura on two desktop Mac's (both 3 years old) plus a 4-year-old MacBook Pro and both LR and Photoshop run flawlessly.

LrC runs flawlessly on the latest Ventura version. Best of luck.

They work fine. Download the Creative Cloud app and install it. Sign in to your Adobe Account. Your licensed applications will be displayed for download and installation. Import your Lightroom Catalog and re-link your images. If you put them at the exact same path on your new machine, they will link automatically.

Photoshop works natively with the M1 chip, no need to use Rosetta.

the only thing I use Lightroom Classic for is camera tethering - and that stopped working when I changed to Ventura. Adobe says they are working on it, but I didn't see it listed as a known issue on the link a previous poster put in this thread. the most recent upgrade didn't fix it.
