I have a bunch of friends who, like me, have fallen in love with the mountain named El Chimborazo. It's the tallest mountain in the world and is an extinct volcano. One year I climbed up on it. I was by myself, so I didn't care go as far as I would have liked.

It is the tallest. Measuring from the center of the earth instead of sea level. Because it sits near the equator, the earth is fatter there.
