Having lived in Alaska for 10 yrs in the past.... Nice photos. But... You were way too close to Mr Grizzly. I never wanted to be closer than 1/2 mile to a grizzly. Those guys are so powerful and can run 40mph through brush. Much faster than me.

I was in a safely enclosed place when he was wandering about. Just like the Buffalo in Yellowstone I'll be posting in a few days I got my shots from a safe place and not in the open with no protection. Every year we see stories about people messing with Bison and paying the price. I appreciate your concern though...very thoughtful!

Thanks...no he looked like he wasn't in the mood for conversation....we were totally silent while shooting.
