Good morning Dr. Bob,

Great image but I wish someone could explain to me just what makes this particular Aerostat actually maneuverable (steerable relative to compass heading). I have been flying since I was 18 years old with a Commercial license / multi engine (King Air 350) / instrument and approximately 6000+ hours of flight time and I have never heard of an Aerostat that can actually be "steered" (other than up / down).

Anybody?

I would suggest that, instead of destroying it, they should puncture it enough that it will descend slowly. Then they could take custody of it and examine it intact. I am sure that the military and CIA would love to know exactly what is the intended purpose.

What I find unbelievable is that they aren't smart enough to figure-out a way to accomplash that. Or, are they not allowed to for some very suspicious reasons.

It has already drifted over one of our most secure missile launching sites. Are they just incredibly stupid, or are they under orders from the top.

Pressure is mounting as we speak to shoot down the view with Fox news filming .. Its arriving off Murtle Beach shortly as it drifts out over the ocean and before it gets into International waters .. Blast it and recover the goodies .. Vessels have been placed off the coast for a recovery effort etc. The President will give the final yes or no ,,,,

Its unmanned and is a violation of our airspace .., Come on Biden .. Trump would have already taken it out ...!
