Ok, it may be that the seated gentleman is not (necessarily) an ear biter, but that unlikely possibility does not rule out the high likelihood that he was indeed an axe murderer.
For my part in this, and speaking solely about the image itself rather than any proclivities the gentleman may or may not have possessed, with the restoration and re-attachment of Ms. Wistful's bitten-off ear, I believe my work is done.
