Good friends and music....can't beat that for a fun afternoon! I was playing as well but since I had to take the picture....my seat is empty...lol Not the best picture because I took a quick one with my kindle fire.

I'm with you Cindy...when I'm playing my tuba with others, it's pretty dang loud sometimes, hehe. Maybe it's a brass thing, but playing in my Orange County Concert Band is VERY rewarding!

Yes she is playing a mandolin and we all play country, bluegrass and some older rock and roll. Hubby plays the electric, I play the acoustic. Peggy plays the mandolin and keyboard and her hubby plays an electric and bass.

I bet that is loud....but fun! Hubby and I just do it for fun but the other two in the picture both play and sing in bands.

Sounds like a lot of fun. When my wife & I used to go to camping trail tides with our horses, we played 12 string guitars. Quite often someone(s) from neighboring campsites would join in with another guitar, banjo, or even a harmonica. lots of fun.

Cindy, it appears that a fun time was had by all. The beauty of music is that it connects people. It carries a message, and the musicians are the messengers that bring it to us.

We always take the acoustic guitars when we do go camping...we even packed them on our horses when we packed in for long trail rides. Always have other people come to the campfire when we get the guitars out.....always a fun time.
