have subscribed to adobe lightroom/photoshop monthly subscription for several years. they charge my credit card monthly with no problem. got an email todayf from adobe that problem occurred with my credit card charge for this month. I never changed anything about my card info. card doesn't expire for another year. called amex and they said there is no problem with card and no record of charge by adobe or any refusal. said to contact adobe.
went on their website and signed into my account and confirmed that there was a red warning on my billing this month, confirming accuracy of the email. (initially thought email may be phishing expedition to relieve me of personal information and did not click any email links but went directly to adobe website.)
did not find any phone number for contact, but they had a virtual chat which was initially a robot and then seemed like converted to person, although it too could be artificial intelligence. it wanted me to cancel my currrent subscription and open new one. when i asked why, it said that "this could be end of commitment to this plan". when I replied in the chat "what does that mean", i got no response.
has any one else had this or similar issue. does anyone have a phone access so i know i am conversing with real person? does any one know about subscriptions expiring and can explain?
thanks so much. annoying that you have to spend time on things which you pay for.
Could your problem have anything to do with the inability you --appear?-- to have with initializing the first words in sentences?
Probably not, but worth a moment's investigation. Or not. What would I know without access to your bank routing number, your Adobe account, or your SSN?

Did you go directly to the adobe web site or click a link in the email?
I've seen several messages/emails recently from "Adobe" that are clearly (at least to me) phishing expeditions. You know to ignore them, so do just that. The primary clue is that the "link" doesn't have the letters "adobe" anywhere.
Confirm with Amex and your monthly charge went through, and if so, continue about your life's business.

Adobe Support 1-800-833-6687. Talk to a real person who WILL help you out.
Good luck and keep on shooting until the end.
Call your credit card company..they will tell you if the card was used and 'declined'. If declined, ask them to check with their processing department to find out why. Usually the card was put in improperly--address, expiration, or cc code.
While it doesn't make sense since they have used the same card for a while...sh't happens.
Did the email really come from Adobe?
Sounds like a phishing attempt to me.
I get various occasional emails that say "my card has expired".....
It hasn't.
Some for stuff which I do not subscribe.

Read his post. He did went to Adobe website to check on his account and having a chat. He said it was a virtual chat with the computer but later he believed he was chatting to a real person which told him to open new account. He didn't have Adobe number but someone has posted the number so I think he would call to find out.

When we "chat" with robots, or people for whom English is not a first language, it becomes increasingly important that we write correctly in order to be understood.
I just got a new pet peeve!
Most likely when Adobe submitted for payment there was a connection glitch and the transaction didn’t go through. If you can get them to just resubmit it will probably be fine now.
