All hail the mighty C_2022_E3.
Well, Friday didn't go as planned.
Firstly the temperature dropped rapidly & then random clouds arrived.
Anyway, here is the best 40 frames from 50 taken.

Your stars are spot on, pin point.
Astrophotography is extremely difficult. Good job

Thanks mate.
I had to double stack.
First stack on the stars.
Second on the comet.
Blended together in photoshop

Great image Marc!
I want to try it, but currently under clouds.
We'll see though...

Thanks it.
Keep watching the weather
Thanks Marc for showing me how it's done. Excellent image.
I'm glad you got out that's an awesome image of the comet C_ 2022 /E3, sitting in clouds and rain for the remainder of the week.
Very impressive work. If I lived closer, I'd ask if I could tag along on your next outing. Please post more.

Regardless of your sky conditions, still a great end result.
I love how the ion and dust trails off the comet are almost in opposite directions at present. I've never seen this on any other comet I've shot.
I'm waiting for a cloudless night to go after this beastie a second time.

If anyone uses Stellarium like I do, I found this to be helpful to add Comets, and particularly C-2022_E3 to my Stellarium.
https://youtu.be/E86Yg5Ezvi4Which I use with NINA to program sequences in for evenings targets. So easy to select an object in Stellarium, then start a sequence in NINA adding the object in Stellarium.
So, it looks like tonight may give me the opportunity to get some imaging in again. And I'd like to see what I can gather.
It's been tough this Brush Growing season with the rains. But boy howdy, we have a bumper crop of brush coming along! We're apt to have a great smoke obscuring season this Summer/Fall.
