When a screw-up goes right.... for once
Here's a good one for all those guys who make a screw-up while processing their photos and just shrug it off.
This Collage 'happened' when I was trying to crop a photo in Affinity 2 but had the wrong layer highlighted for the crop.
I took this photo of myself against a white background then cut out the background and replaced it with another one. But, I still had the photo of myself highlighted when I selected the crop function.
Following the crop function, there was a slight white edge around the background. So, with the photo still highlighted, I selected a macro function to "infill the corners". When the infill function was complete, this is what I ended up with.
The second photo is the one I was trying to achieve. I don't know if PS has the same "Infill" feature, but it's worth a try.

I like when a screw up works out. Your second photo though is excellent. I
might take out some yellow out of the teeth, but just a little.
An old, but good tutorial on that for Affinity:

To err is human, but to really screw things up takes a computer! - unknown
if you ever get in a fight , you'll have plenty of backup!!

Ah, but a computer will only do what the programmer/software tells it to do so really, to err is human, and to err using a computer may just be a compounding of an error made by another human in the guise of a coder or algorithm. Technology just magnifies, (or enhances if you will) the ability of humans to really screw up even when they believe that they are doing everything right. Now, AI on the other hand may seem like it should be an entirely different matter and may well be in the future. However, if you believe that the current state of AI is not capable of making mistakes then try out Stable Diffusion and you may either laugh or you may cry at the sometimes bizarre results.
Both pictures are great...both the mistake and the desired result. Or one could have a little more fun in post!
