For all of you who know Erv. All the people here he touched. I'm letting everyone know he is in hospice and not doing well at all. Jenny just called me to let me know he may not be with us much longer. He is and has always been a great friend. He valued so many of you here and so enjoyed this forum. This is where I met him. I will keep everyone up to date as I find out more. God bless him and all of you for your thoughts and prayers
That is so sad, He was also one of the first on my Buddy List back when I joined.
I remember his pictures of the snow, spring and fall. His dog and cat and his outstanding woodworking projects.
I have missed his posts a lot.
Prayers to him and Janny.

Erv was one of my first buddies on UHH. A sweet, sweet man. My love to Erv, Janny and the family.
Same here Linda. So sad to get this news. He's been reclusive and per Janny doesn't want anyone out. He always had the best stories.

Thank you for letting us know. He was one of the first people I "met" here when I first joined, and have really missed him since he hasn't been posting. I'll keep him in my prayers and thoughts. Please let him know he is missed.
Me too Mike. He live one County over from me so we would go to breakfast, BS and go shooting. Always a fun time with Erv.

He is quite a large source of my digital knowledge and he is always quick to share that knowledge with anyone.
I have many notes from his how-to-do-it posts here on UHH and I frequently refer to them.
My heart and prayers go out to Erv and his family. . . .
Best Wishes,

Erv, He always seemed to be a gentle person, always showing love for his wife. Erv, go in peace!

Thoughts and prayers for Erv and family. He has been and will be missed greatly.
So sorry to hear about Erv. My prayers go out to him and his loved ones!
Sad indeed, Erv was a true gentleman and a friend to everyone. We used to correspond about places we would like to go and photograph. Erv was looking forward to a trip to Yellowstone in their new trailer and I was giving him tips on locations. Shortly afterwards he fell ill...wish he could have made that trip.
Thanks for the update Jack.
The name, "Erv", was familiar but I couldn't quite place him. I looked him up on the User List and found his profile. Clicked on a few of his posts and when I saw his picture I remembered him. I enjoyed a lot of his posts. Wishing the best for him and Jenny.
Erv was before my time here on UHH.
One of the most beautiful things I have heard was, "I didn't know her, but listening to the stories, I wish I had" . The way he is attributed to here makes me wish I had known him
As many of us know, times as these times are daunting, and hard.
My prayers go to him and his family
May the Angels of comfort wrap their wings around the family

He did get to Yellowstone Jim. I was sad to hear this news from Janny
