I have a local photography friend who is somewhat like you. He develops a plan, then goes out and executes, sometimes, very quickly. He also has very different ideas about post processing than do others in my club. Pre-pandemic, he set up on a person's back porch, shot across a river valley to make a 13 foot long pano of his river front hometown. He did the shoot while his wife was turning the car around. He also scanned a small old photo that I had, that I had tried and gotten miserable results, in rather short order. It was maybe 60 - 90 minutes from the time I pulled into his driveway till I left. Most of that time was visiting and showing me some of his other photo endeavors. I learned a whole lot about scanning in that short time.
So, considering the other descriptions of yours that I have read, I find your answer within acceptable time frames, because you do this over n over. I understand that you have long standing friendships with many other hoggers, and sometimes it is obvious that you have built personal understandings with them. What I don't understand is Susan's hysterical laughter at your answer. Or did I miss-inturpt something?
Otherwise, again I thank you for your answer your knowledge, and insight. As always, I have learned a lot. Your answer supplied way more than I ask for. Thank you. As rockdog said, it's great to wonder around your brain for a minute.

I'm not sure whether you're answering me or Susan either, Trying, but either way, between you and rockdog rummaging around in my head, my prefrontal cortex is starting to feel crowded, and there's something gray and sticky oozing out of my left ear. Regardless, I'm relatively sure Susan never laughs hysterically. Maniacally, sure, absolutely, and sometimes wickedly, but never,
hysterically.
