WHAT TIME IN THE AM DID YOU SHOOT THESE ? I'm going to head over there, one of these days
With all due respect, no reason to shout.

Thanks for the memories of my trips to the area.
Of the many places in the U.S. named Horseshoe Bend, this one has to be the best.
About an hour from us here in North Central Texas is a place on the Brazos with that same name.
Even has a 9 hole golf course with the same name. It does not at all remind me of the place you
have captured so well in your shots. Thanks.
No stop at Antelope Canyon?
The water looks better in your picture. I as there this spring the river almost looked like a swamp with green algae along both side of the river. Hope the winter snows will correct the situation at both Lake Powell and Lake Mead.
When I was there about 8 years ago, no improvements had been made yet. You hiked the half mile from the parking lot to the rim. No railing just the drop off. Just a fantastic spot to shoot. There were maybe 4 or 5 other people there for a short time, so I had the place pretty much to myself. I was able to take some fantastic shots with the sun just setting above the bend. Horseshoe Bend and upper Antelope Canyon the best places to shoot in Arizona.

Great choice of time of day....spectacular!

Was at Horseshoe Bend on Nov 12th, around 9 am, left a couple hours later when the real crowds started showing up. This place is very popular and is not free. Also note it is a hike of at least a half mile one way from the parking lot to the Colorado River. These shots were taken with a Samsung S22+; other pics (not shown here) were taken with a Nikon D850. This was the first stop of that day. Visited Glen Canyon Dam next. On to Marble Canyon where the Navajo Bridge is located. From there to Lee's Ferry. Early evening until near dark at an overlook of Lake Powell just behind Glen Canyon Dam. Was a busy yet a fun day seeing lots of venues for the very first time. Next morning was off to Zion Nat Pk.

Great series of pics.
I'll be there in a couple of months to take it all in including Upper Antelop Canyon and 5 UT's NP's.
