Day at the Zoo

Most of the birds were behind a double mesh screen cages and the cats were behind heavy-duty link fences as shown in the photo of Sassy, the Florida Panther, who was getting ready for a training session. Some of those fences are noticeable on the photos of the birds and cats when looking close.

Anyway, a beautiful day, a nice outing and a good walk. A sampling of some of the critters from the zoo are attached below, enjoy, best viewed in dl. Cheers all, have a great week.

Thank you, Tom, she is a beautiful rescue from the Naples area, her mother was hit by a car.

Wonderful tiger and panther shots. If you would like to remove the chain link fence from the last panther shot and are willing to do a bit of hard work, watch this You-Tube video from Anthony Morganti:

Great Anteater shot. This has to be the most ungainly animal in the animal kingdom.
