Some elephants today

I do have a few more cheetah and cubs to work, but I switched it up and did a few swamp elephants.
This is in Amboseli where the drought is so bad. There is water in the swamps, but without the rain the ground is dry so there is not grass for the animals to eat. These swamps do provide some food for the elephants as well as buffalo. Other animals can not go into the swamps without getting stuck.

Notice mom has a wonky tusk. Most likely from an injury as a baby.

Love these, they are so different from what you usually see, or at least from what I usually see.
